other，others，the other，the others的区别：意思不同、用法不同、侧重点不同。
一、意思不同
1、other：另外，其他。
2、others：其他人员。
3、the other：另一个。
4、the others：其他人。
二、用法不同
1、other：用作形容词作“别的，其他的，另外的”解时，常用来修饰复数名词或不可数名词，如前面有this，that，some，any，each，every，no，none，one等词时，也可用来修饰单数名词。
2、others：用作代词时常用于复数形式，表示“其他的，别的或另外的人（或事物）”，others若用于the或表示所属关系的限定词后，则表示“其余的人（或事物）”，即把剩下的全部包括在内。
3、the other：用于两者之间，指特定的某人或某物之外的“另一个”、“剩下的”。
4、the others：用作特指某一范围内“全部或其余的人或物”。
三、侧重点不同
1、other：other+名词=others。
2、others：指许多中一部分是some，剩下的一些就是others。
3、the other：指两者中一个。
4、the others：表示特指某范围内的“其他的人或物”。
